The sessions ‘Singing to Promote and Enhance Communication’ are for individuals who require help in developing their communication skills, such as those on the autism spectrum who are minimally verbal. In these one-to-one sessions, individuals work on their speech, language, and communication skills. These sessions complement and build on the work of speech-language pathologists.

Lower Limb Nail and Skin Conditions Management: Diagnosis and treatment of issues affecting the nail and skin in the foot and ankle. Lower Limb Biomechanical Examination: A comprehensive analysis of foot posture and lower limb structure. Any associated issues are discussed and managed accordingly. Diabetic Foot Screening: A full assessment aimed at monitoring and preventing issues in the lower limb brought on by Diabetes. This includes a comprehensive lower limb vascular and neurological assessment. Paediatric Podiatry Consultation: Podiatric assessment and treatment for multiple issues which may concern children’s feet from newborns to late teens. Ingrown Toe Nail Treatment: Management and treatment of ingrown toe nails. Lower Limb Ulcer Management: Diagnosis, treatment, management and prevention plan for ulcers of the lower limb aimed at establishing the cause, treating the condition and preventing recurrence. Lower Limb Sport Injury Assessment: Expert guidance in diagnosing and managing both chronic and acute lower limb injuries induced by sport and physical activity. Orthotics Prescription: Prescribing of lower limb orthotic devices ranging from insoles, supports, cushioned devices and more, aimed at addressing foot deformities, alleviating pain and improving comfort. Expert care and advice is provided at a personalised level depending on individual requirements.

Ms. Deborah Pullicino
Singing to promote and enhance communication
Deborah Pullicino graduated from the University of Malta with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 2012, and started her teaching career in local secondary/primary schools. She has since continued her musical studies, concentrating specifically on classical singing and music theory.
Deborah graduated with a Master of Arts in Music Psychology in Education, Performance and Wellbeing at the University of Sheffield in 2021, after being awarded an Endeavour Scholarship. Her Master’s degree focused on researching the singing practices favoured by children on the autism spectrum who are nonverbal or minimally verbal and the effect of these singing practices on their expressive and receptive communication skills.
In 2021, Deborah won a Tertiary Education Scholarship Scheme (TESS) Scholarship, which allowed her to pursue a doctoral degree at the Division of Human Communication Sciences at the University of Sheffield.Read more -
Ms. Linzy Spiteri
Gestalt Psychotherapist
Linzy completed her undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Health and Social Care, in 2014. Subsequently, she pursued advanced education in Gestalt Psychotherapy, leading up to the attainment of her Master's Degree in 2020. Since then, she has been dedicated to her psychotherapy practice, specializing primarily in the support and treatment of individuals grappling with trauma-related challenges. Her professional interests encompass a diverse array of critical areas, including: • Trauma; • Anger Management; • Domestic Violence; • Addiction; and • Self-Discovery and Exploration

Mr. Luke Saliba
Podiatrist
Mr Saliba is a state-registered podiatrist with over 6 years experience in managing clinical issues of the foot and ankle. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Malta and a Master’s degree from the University of Sheffield.
Additionally, he is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow).
He works with a wide variety of patients treating lower limb ailments, which range from skin and nail disorders, postural issues and analysis, lower limb circulatory assessments and sports injuries amongst others.
Mr Saliba is a committee member of the Association of Podiatrists of Malta and regularly attends professional seminars, courses and conferences to keep abreast with the latest clinical research and guidelines. He holds consultations every Friday afternoon at Mediatrix Zabbar by appointment.Read more -
Ms. Mary Grace Grima
Physiotherapist
Mary Grace Grima, also known as Graziella, is a registered physiotherapist within the Council for the Professions Complementary to Medicine (CPCM). She obtained both her Bachelor’s (2018) and Master’s Degree (2024) in Physiotherapy with the University of Malta .
Graziella makes particular emphasis on the fact that every patient is different, and ensures that the treatment is specifically tailored to their needs, in order to optimize the rehabilitation.

Dr. Kirill Micallef Stafrace
Sports & Exercise Medicine Consultant
Kirill Micallef Stafrace graduated MD from the University of Malta in 1993. He proceeded to the University of London where he graduated MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine. Dr. Micallef Stafrace is a Fellow of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine of Ireland and Fellow of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine of UK.
He is a senior lecturer at the University of Malta and in 2005 Dr Micallef Stafrace was elected as a member of the Executive Committee of the European Federation of Sports Medicine Associations (EFSMA).Read more -
